ONDŌ Matcha — Hadong, Korea

Ceremonial Grade

Origin: Ha-dong

Tasting Notes: Soft greens, Light Umami, Mineral Earth

Finish: Smooth, Lingering

Antioxidant Rich, By Design

ONDŌ matcha is grown under full sun, a condition that encourages the tea plant to produce higher levels of catechins as a natural protective response. Less manipulation means more of these compounds remain intact. In our daily lives, oxidative stress becomes one of the primary drivers of dullness, uneven tone, inflammation, and premature aging. Catechins help reduce this stress at the cellular level, supporting:

  • Brighter, more even-looking skin
  • Reduced inflammation associated with redness and breakouts
  • Preservation of collagen and skin elasticity over time

This is internal skin support, not surface treatment.

About ONDO

ONDŌ began with a simple observation: global demand for matcha has grown faster than the systems that support it.

As long-time matcha lovers, we’ve seen how rising demand can strain land, farmers, and long-standing tea traditions. Rather than compete within an already overextended supply chain, we set out to broaden it.

Korea has a deep, independent history of green tea cultivation shaped by its climate, soil, and generations of farming knowledge. Yet Korean matcha "malcha" has remained largely unknown outside the region. ONDŌ exists to bring it forward.
